What is the Technology Fair?

The Tenderloin Technology Fair is a free one-day event during Digital Inclusion Week for low income individuals who cannot afford to repair their digital devices.

The Technology Fair features Computer repairs and tutoring, coding workshop, intro to smartphone workshop, and smartphone part 2 workshop.

What is Digital Inclusion Week?

Digital Inclusion Week, October 7th-11th, 2019, aims to raise awareness of solutions addressing home internet access, personal devices and local technology training and support programs. This week is sponsored by the National Digital Inclusion Alliance and represents more than 350 affiliated organizations in 44 states working toward digital equity. Throughout Digital Inclusion Week, organizations across the nation and around the world will host digital inclusion events (i.e. free technology trainings, device donation drives, etc.) and share digital stories that highlight specific inequities and the role digital inclusion providers play in meeting these needs.
